Deanne Jones is our Compliance and Business Manager and is involved with finance and regulatory matters. She deals with the accounts for Hearnden Associates and prepares accounts and submits tax returns for our clients.
Claire Peverley joined us in 2003 and is our Accounts Manager. Her duties include fee analysis, company payroll and maintaining the company accounts. Claire also provides our clients with a similar facility including tax returns, bookkeeping, payroll and VAT services. Claire spends most of her spare time with her family and when she can, she escapes to the gym.
Alison Wheeler has been part of the team at Hearnden Associates since 2001 and works for the company three days a week. She provides support for our investment, savings and pension business, with duties including the production of reports and handling of telephone enquiries. When not at work, Alison's second home is the local health club where she enjoys keeping fit with various exercise classes and the gym. She also enjoys decorating and maintaining the family home and garden.
Joanne Caddamy, CeMAP, joined Hearnden Associates in 2015 after a career break from the financial services industry. Joanne passed her mortgage exams, including equity release in 2019, adding to her existing financial qualifications. During the three days a week she works, Joanne is responsible for ensuring all mortgage applications are processed as efficiently as possible. She liaises with lenders and clients to obtain mortgage offers and then continues to monitor their progress through to completion. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog and baking.
Moira Martin is the face of Hearnden Associates and has been greeting clients and answering your calls since joining us in the Spring of 2018. Due to the nature of her role, she assists with everything from opening the post and monitoring our emails to assisting the investment and mortgage teams with administrative tasks. Moira is responsible for our later life services: She delivers our will writing service and prepares lasting power of attorney paperwork. Outside work, Moira enjoys membership of the local gym and spending time on the south coast.
Ethan Nunns, DipPP, has been part of the team since summer 2019 after graduating from University of Chester with a 2:1 in Economics. He has recently become a qualified paraplanner, putting his degree to good use by assisting the investment team with the many tasks involved in providing financial advice to our clients. When not at work, Ethan enjoys playing football with his friends.
Lizzie Irving is our Practice Manager. She joined us just weeks before lockdown in March 2020. She is new to the world of commerce, having previously worked in hospitality and is putting her customer services skills to good use by supporting both the investment and mortgage teams. Lizzie is also involved with death claims and probate applications, aiming to provide sensitive and helpful support when our clients need it most. When not at work Lizzie is kept busy running around after her son and getting ready for the birth of her second child.
Libby Lawrence started with Hearnden Associates during the summer of 2020. She trained, socially distanced, at the home (and garden) of our mortgage manager. Libby comes from a financial background but is new to the world of independent financial services. She is involved in assisting the mortgage and investment teams and having recently passed her mortgage exams, she is well on the way to becoming a fully qualified mortgage adviser. When not at work Libby likes to spend time with her family and friends eating delicious food.
Gurjit Purba joined Hearnden Associates in August 2021 after a successful 32 year career in retail and business banking. During her working week, Gurjit manages various admin duties which entails dealing with providers and clients effectively, to secure successful mortgage offers and to ensure a seamless service and positive experience is provided to all parties. In her spare time Gurjit enjoys travelling and keeping fit.
Gemma Baker is our most recent team member, having joined in March 2022. She works primarily with the investments and pensions team but is happy to assist the mortgage team when needed and has taken on a number of projects since joining us. When Gemma is not juggling working life alongside mum life with her three daughters, she enjoys relaxing at home and eating out with her fiancé or friends.
